Twelve Wabasso athletes named to Tomahawk all-academic team

Twelve Wabasso athletes from four teams were named to the Tomahawk Conference all-academic team.

Six girls from the Wabasso softball team four boys from the Wabasso baseball team and two from the track and field team have all earned the honor.

Maria Guetter, Tori Altermatt, Amanda Hatch, Meghan Irlbeck, Chantel Salfer and Andrea Rohlik represent the Wabasso softball team while Micah Gronli, Christopher Eichton, Sam Guetter and Michael Wotschke have earned the honors with the Wabasso baseball team.

Representing Wabasso on the all-academic team for boys track is Dan Alexander and for the girls track team Alisa Salfer.

Each player named must be a member of the varsity squad, must be at least a sophomore and carry a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
