MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — A spring storm has dropped several tornadoes on the ground in south-central Minnesota, but no major damage or injuries are reported.

Tornado touchdowns were reported near St. James and Lake Crystal Thursday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says a tornado also was confirmed near Madelia.

High winds tore down trees and snapped power poles in Waseca (wah-SEE'-kuh). But the Waseca County sheriff's office reports no injuries.

In southeastern Minnesota, a roof was blown off a house 8 miles southeast of Red Wing.

Heavy rain also was reported. Nicollet in south-central Minnesota received 2.2 inches of rain Thursday evening.

Some street flooding was reported in Burnsville south of Minneapolis.
