MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Two female University of Minnesota students are expected to be OK after they were stabbed during a robbery near campus.
Police say the attack just after midnight Monday happened as the students, both 21, were walking to their off-campus home. Police tell the Star Tribune (http://strib.mn/RloELa ) the male suspect took $5 from the women.
The stabbing is the third violent attack on university students in recent weeks on or near the Twin Cities campus. A man with a gun robbed a female student April 25 near Williams Arena. On April 22, three suspects robbed a 21-year-old man and hit him in the back of the head. There have been no arrests in any of the incidents.
