ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton says he is pain-free in the wake of surgery to address chronic hip pain.
Dayton is making his first appearance at the Capitol, having miss the session so far due to the surgery. He is using crutches to get around.
The Democrat says he got his cast off a week early.
Dayton jumped right into the political fray, pressing the need for swift action on a package to roll back some tax increases passed last year.
He is seeking a second term this fall.
