Jury convicts man in 2012 Duluth stabbing

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — A jury has convicted a man who represented himself in a Duluth stabbing death.

Jurors deliberated about two hours Wednesday before finding Joshua Lee Littlewolf guilty of second-degree murder.

Littlewolf was convicted of killing 28-year-old Joshua Olson in a downtown Duluth apartment in April 2012.

The Duluth News Tribune (http://bit.ly/190APOw ) reports after the guilty verdict, the judge ordered Littlewolf's bail revoked. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 1.

The prosecutor argued that Littlewolf decided to "condemn and butcher" Olson for comments he made that angered Littlewolf.

Testifying on his own behalf Tuesday, Littlewolf said Olson was disrespectful of American Indians and women during an evening of drinking.

Littlewolf contended he was involved in an altercation with Olson, but was not the one who fatally stabbed him.
