So, six months ago, the editorial board said it would not endorse anyone who used school funding as a means to balance the budget through schemes and slight of hand, yet have endorsed one of the people most responsible (that are still in politics) for such funding shenanigans.

BTW, 3.75 million people live in Mpl-StP metro, which is about 70% of the state population. As much as I'd like to see more equitable funding out-state, that is where the money flows. Even Mr. Seifert, politician lifer that he is (no significant work experience on his resume), will be chasing the big boys of the metro much more than the out-staters.
