You have got to be kidding me. I'm glad the solved the problem, FOR THIS YEAR, but the process was one that left people feeling discouraged, lied to, condescend to and completely disenfranchised. Morale on that campus is at an all-time low, for students, faculty and staff. Anyone who is even tangentially connected with anyone who works there knows that. Academics, which is the whole purpose of a university, took the bulk of the hit, rather than sharing things across all aspects of the university. I sincerely hope that this administration will do considerably better in the future.

Congrats - sounds like a great process that resulted in meeting the target - while getting buy-in and staying true to key objectives. Nice to read about the process and see that it appears to have yielded a great result! Excellent leadership!
