I've long thought the restrictions on Sunday liquor sales were silly. I'm guessing this originally stemmed from Blue Laws. It hardly seems relevant anymore in today's world. So many folks are only religious when they're actually in a church, but are more than happy to toss a few back watching the big game lunch. Others don't consider Sunday to even be special because for them their holy day is Saturday or Friday. And there's plenty of people who don't feel like any day is holy.

Oh well, I guess even athiest alcoholics probably need a day of rest. Or just plan ahead.

blasphemer - Seems as if you are on the "nay" side of the Sunday Growler Law. Since they aren't saying anything, perhaps you can shed some light on why is the DFL & Teamsters against MN jobs, MN tax revenue & MN tourism that would be created through this bill?

Swede, Marshall is not a rural tourist stop. And besides, if they are going to suffer due to thr non-passing of this bill then thay must already be suffering.
