Yes, great choice Marty! A woman to get the female vote; close to the Metro to get the vote you think you lacked last time and someone to wear the pants on the ticket..

Just what we need, two religious zealots who don't believe in public education. I thought this paper wrote in November that it would not support those who use education funding as a gimmick or a political football. Yet we see a constant stream of pro- articles about Seifert who was in leadership when those budget gimmicks were done.

Regarding MN's surplus; "Republican leaders in the Minnesota Legislature say the $1.2 billion budget surplus is no cause for celebration because it shows state government overtaxes its citizens."

By golly, given their close ties to Republican leaders, I have no doubt that if Marty Seifert and Pam Myhra are elected, we’ll be back in the red in no time. And, based on Pam’s voting record, we can expect most of the budget cuts to come from education and health and human services funding. Yes sir, I’ll bet they are poring over Pawlety’s playbook, as I type, to help guide them down the paved red path.

I’ll bet some of the surplus is due to a strong business climate and job creation driven by Democratic leadership.
