Let me tell you, I'd be the first person to sign up for renting a space next to the liquor store! This walkin' down the street to get my beer is nonsense, if you ask me. Too much work in my advancing age.

That's true EP. It was funny in the previous article about the liquor store when one of the objections to renting out space was the city competing with private business possibilities. There's a reason Green Valley has a store....

I live out in the country so I don't feel I should comment on the City of Marshall's decision, that's up to city residents. As a shopper I would comment that a town the size of Marshall (population and geographic) should have more than one retail off sale store.

Apparently they don't want to pay for the upkeep of rental space, you know, just like City Hall.
