Ahh... California. Now, there's a great example of how to govern. You could give every democrat in that state a ladder and they still couldn't climb their way out of debt. Maybe another proposition or two would do the trick.

Taxes are just one factor in a business' decision to location in MN or stay in MN. The availability of skilled labor, operating overhead (land, utilities, supplies, etc.), local development incentives, infrastructure, access to market, and quality of life are also important.

There are states with higher business taxes than MN that attract way more business than MN, like CA, because the other factors out-weigh the taxes.

What the legislature should be focused on is ensuring that business in MN receives value for their tax dollars by having a well-educated workforce and a decent infrastructure.
