SELC, exactly. I can't believe Marty's platform is so similar to Emmer's 4 years ago. If 4 years in the private sector have had such an effect on Marty, I would think he has some new fuel to add to the fire. By the way, Marty, things are looking up now. Instead of going back to a failed campaign, come up with something that will give Marshall a reason to TALK. The stunning lack of comments says that you have failed to inspire even your hometown crowd.

The best chance for a republican to win state-wide office is for them to show some independent thought and adopt a more moderate stance than the traditional right-wing "conservative" tone of the GOP. Seifert has proven over the years that he is little more than a sock puppet for the state GOP, unable to do anything other than regurgitate the party line. Even if he wins the nomination he is unlikely to get elected.
