Church celebrates it's 125th anniversary, and cfh101proof finds this to be the most appropriate spot to complain about how awful Samuel Lutheran is.

The religous moments at Samuel was a bit too much. You can not force that much bible reading, prayer, hymns, memorizing page after page from the bible and folding your hands on kids. It was beyond extreme ans a waste of time and brain capacity, unless you knew at that young age u want to be a pastor or Lutheran school teacher when you get out of college. Decent memories overall.

I wonder if they still teach the kids that dinosaurs didn't exist and the scientists lied and made that up over at Samuel? I bet they do. My favorite thing they tried teaching me was that there were no such thing as Indians and Columbus was the first human to step foot in America. Being part Chippewa, that irritated the*****out of me. The Israel worship, the hot classrooms, the drainage ditch out back is scorched into my brain forever. Loved the cooks while I attended, the 2 principals were the best, librarian, bert the limo driver, Pastor Shafer and his kids, Mr Arndt, Mrs. Madetzke i know u read this and u were a kind lady to me and u also have a great family. Not all the staff was nice. I wont say names but 3 dif female teachers struck me and i hated those evil twatz. Around the 2nd week of August every summer fear would start 2 set in and i begged and cried to my parents to let me go to a public school but they made me stay until 8th grade. Not sure if Id want it any other way.
