Records matter at this level if your not winning you need to get winning or move on. The softball coach would have liked to stay. She inherited a very messy situation and did about as good as anybody could do. She was very young and the administration should have hired somebody with more experience. The WBB team has gotten worse every year since the coach has been here. I don't know what they have for recruits, none have been announced that I know of.

I am glad to see Coach Bigler get extended. I don't think you can look at just the record to deteremine whether a coach should be extended. I am sure there is more to the softball coach not being extended, maybe she didn't want to come back. Hopefully the confidence that these coaches have been given will help get their programs going in a winning direction.

They canned the softball coach who won 1/2 of her games and extend the women's BBall coach who has 200 winning percentage. That must make sense to someone
