As we*****it dry, maybe we need to rethink planning, development "agriculture" and growth. Too many people for the land we live on? Industries that overuse natural resource? Wasteful habits? Does this community really think that this new aquifer is the answer -won't last long folks - when what is needed is addressing the way we interact with the environment and our policies regarding industry. When maybe 35% of Marshall water is used by citizens and the rest by industry, will those water hogs be paying for 65% of this new faucet? And then when that goes dry??? Oh, but it's jobs, the jobs that wont be there when the water goes. Yoo-hoo Marshall, this is nuts.
