Future appears cloudy for Minneota/Lincoln HI football co-op

Lincoln HI School Board next to act after Minneota Board votes to dissolve schools’ partnership due to class realignment issue

May 6, 2013

At this point one thing is certain concerning Minneota/Lincoln HI football: the Vikings and Rebels not play football together in 2014....

What a joke! "Our biggest concern is the safety of our kids...." Since when is football concerned about "safety?" Rough and tough play is part of the game!?!?!

Read between the lines, Minneota which has LONG been a strong team in the region doesn't want to get pushed into the next level as they'll get little to nowhere in the playoffs - better to be a big/strong fish in a small pond is their motto.

Feel bad for Lincoln HI - talk about identity crisis - can't keep up if their together, separate - going their own ways or what....

Read between the lines on this one and expect a near state championship from Minneota (with our without Lincoln HI) next year and beyond.

Just my two cents.
