It's a shame more newly elected officials don't take the time to get themselves trained when they enter office. Maybe Tracy would have fewer issues if their mayor had bothered to learn the rules mayors have to play by.

SELyonCo, you keep bringing up all the "issues" that Tracy is having...yet when asked you never elaborate on any of these "issues" starting to just sound like sour grapes to me....

Canntt, I don't recall anyone ever asking me what those issues are. But since you asked, here are just a few:
The mayor attempting to hijack the hiring process for a new city administrator by requesting resumes be sent to a private PO Box, fines for improper reporting to the MPCA, several experienced city employees quiting (including an excellent public works director), the whole trailer park debacle, people moving out of town, plummeting property values and large property tax increases.
No sour grapes here, just frustration with inept city leadership.
