Shannon - I know you may find this hard to believe, but not every one can do every thing you expect of them every day. Instead of bellyaching about who was not there, you should instead be giving thanks to those who were and contributed to a very successful evening.

I'll be looking for you are every charity event in the area to see how many you attend.

I clearly stated it was an amazing evening and all the people that came together from several towns to make the event happen!! Fun was had by all. I was the voice for many with a concern, plain and simple. I have been to many events for the school of Milroy and will continue to do so.

You should march right down to the school and confront the admins who did not attend, then report back on these pages. Asking the question in the paper doesn't get you an answer.

You should be able to report on your findings by noon on Monday.

I agree that the event was an amazing night at the school. Thank you to all that gave their time and help in any way. Milroy should be proud. It is disappointing however to hear that the leaders of the schools were not their to show their support. But it just goes to show that the people who truely care about Milroy Schools will be there.

How did the meetings go, and what did you learn? It's 2 PM right now and no report from you.

How do you know what the truth is unless you ask? Or do you prefer to make stuff up?

In regards to the many comments from Rangeral that are starting to sound hostile and game- playing....I don't believe the writer of the original editorial is to report on findings or such. From what I am reading it was a pleasant night and some important people were not in attendance. Sounds like a fair concern was raised. Perhaps there is answers in your defensiveness Rangeral? Give it a rest.

Then why write it in your letter to the editor if you are not serious about the issue - or are you just complaining?

i feel like shannon the original writer was not trying to pursue or find out a direct answer. But on the other hand was just expressing an opionion about why the leaders of the schools were not there. again it sounds like it was a great night for milroy schools. great job to all that did their part.

Just for the record - one of those not in attendance had a family emergency.

Good to know you marched right down to the school, guess you didn't have far to go though.....to report your findings. Concern was noted, and as always, you have the answers. This seems to be a game for you and thats not what an editorial is! Have a great day Rangeral.

An editorial is not lies or half-truths. I didn't "march" anywhere - just picked up the phone and made several calls, which the letter writer could have done if that fit with her agenda.

There were no " lies or half truths " in editorial. So, pat yourself on the back for being a detective. Again, concern was noted....as was said before....Give it a Rest!

In one post Al says, "You should march right down to the school and confront the admins who did not attend, then report back on these pages. Asking the question in the paper doesn't get you an answer." In the next post he says, "You should be able to report on your findings by noon on Monday."

So, asking a question in the paper won't get you an answer, but making demands will? Al, you need to relax and let it go.

You had an agenda in writing your letter and you confirmed it in several responses. Donkey basketball wasn't that agenda - pointing out people not attending was.

You have no credibility and should be ashamed of yourself.

No reason for me to be ashamed. I brought up a concern that was voiced by several. It apparently really struck a nerve with you Rangeral. But whatever, I stand true to what I said and won't be bothered by your harsh words and bullying. Go throw stones elsewhere.

You wrote the letter, you threw the stones - you just don't have the backbone to justify your actions or admit you were wrong - again, simple way to address your wrongful statements - find out the facts - not your guesses - and report back.

Until then you are just a peeved off baby with your own axe to grind.

Nothing wrong at all with the rest of the letter.

I was at the event, who I said wasn't....wasn't there! I'm not the one to have to justify anything. Stop ordering me around like a bully and grow up. Wow!! I'm am so glad this editorial got all your attention, that's what it was to do in the first place.

You are the bully - and you lied for whatever purpose.

You took a wonderful event and then cast aspersions on other people. I call that lying.

Grow up before you write another letter.

You may also want to look up the definition of bullying.

Either do the right thing and back up your statements with truth, or I will continue to call you out as a liar.

A person is always defensive when caught in a lie. You can either apologize or continue to live the lie.

Don't have a clue why Rangeral believes there was a "lie" or why an apology should be noted.....unless its from himself.
