How is 4 years justice? He chose to drink and he chose to drive. In my book that is the same as taking a semi-automatic weapon and killing someone. The only difference is that his weapon was his car. There has to be more that can be done. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bigler family.

Drinking in this society is a sickness. Just take a good look around. Guns don't even come close to the damage to our society that drinking does and no one really cares. This man should rot in jail because the Bigler family will have a life sentence because of this mans actions. Its been 23 years since I lost a very close person to a drunk driver and it makes me mad everyday. The drunk driver was killed so it was come help.

Call your legislators and insist that the penalties for drunk driving be significantly increased.

This is a slap on the wrist.

There will be no restitution paid as that money will go for more alcohol.

I would have added a ton of community service on to that. Make him speak to others on the effects of drinking and driving. Maybe showing a picture of the baby he killed would start to hit home to others.

It is a pretty sad state if a guy with 2 prior DUI's receives this punishment. The family deserves and explanation from the judge and PA as to why they would accept the plea in the first place. Stay strong Bigler family.

Personal responsibility and excuses. You can use drinking, using a cell phone when driving, and many other bad choices but all come down to personal choices, responsibility and thinking ahead. When you make the punishment to fit the crime people will think before they act. I am guessing many politicians, lawyers and judges will think ,But for the grace of God and luck there go I. Truth be known all of us have made bad decisions at one time or another and lucked out but realised it and didn't repeat the bad decision.
