SPECIAL MEETING

April 21, 2008

9:00 AM - Meeting called to order by Chairman Goodenow. Members present: Goodenow, Fenske, Ritter, Nelson, Stensrud, and County Administrator Stomberg, Absent : Attorney Maes and Auditor/Treasurer Van Overbeke. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Fenske moved, seconded by Ritter to approve a 2008 tobacco license for Mike Benson of Benson‚s by the lake. All voted in favor. Nelson moved, seconded by Stensrud to approve the agenda. All voted in favor. 10:00 Break. 10:10 Meeting Called Back to Order. Goodenow moved, seconded by Ritter to create a search committee with Commissioner Nelson, Commissioner Stensrud, and County Administrator Stomberg to investigate and recommend filling needs for an Interim County Engineer. All voted in favor. Fenske moved, seconded by Ritter to advertise for a Public Works Director / County Engineer. Nelson - Since Commissioner Ritter wants the Chairman on there I‚ll get off it the first, last, and all. Ritter - I thought the Chairman should be on the Search Committee. Goodenow - That is fine with me. All voted in favor. Stomberg - If we need a special meeting before May 6 we can do that. Ritter moved, seconded by Stensrud to adjourn. All voted in favor. Mark S.
