Makeup artist, author Christopher Hopkins book signing

REDWOOD FALLS — Women of all ages are invited to join makeup artist Christopher Hopkins, a Redwood Falls native who is known nationally as “The Makeover Guy,” for a booksigning event from 5-7 p.m. at A&W Furniture and Gifts, 1501 E. Bridge St. in Redwood Falls. Hopkins has written “Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45.” Hopkins believes that as women age, the more beautiful they become, but often the less attractive they feel. With techniques that seem to turn back time, Hopkins has taken his 20 years of makeover experience and secrets to unveil “Staging Your Comeback.” The book gives baby boomers solutions to revive hair, makeup and clothing that does not cost a fortune. Hopkins also offers insider tips on lifting eyes without plastic surgery, how to handle thinning hair and dressing for every body type. Guests will have an opportunity to meet Hopkins, who has been on “Oprah” several times and was recently on the “Today Show.” In 2000, he expanded his Twin Cities salon, naming it reVamp! salonspa.
