Lake Benton Area Chamber to kick off year with humorist

The Lake Benton Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that author and humorist Al Batt will perform at the group’s annual Fall Kick-off Banquet at the Lake Benton American Legion. Social hour will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment to follow. Batt writes three weekly humor and nature columns for many newspapers, and has a regular radio show about nature on a number of radio stations.
