Have a good break, Tiger

Tiger Woods says he’s taking an indefinite break from the tour to focus on his family and glue his life back together. A break? Give ME one. Tiger’s ducking. He knows that if he stays on the tour he’s also facing the prospect of getting peppered with questions about his personal life, and instead of starting a news conference by telling reporters he won’t field any personal questions, he goes into hiding. He cheated on his wife and now he’s cheating his fans and the public. It’s really no big deal we’re not made privy to Tiger’s personal life; we shouldn’t care anyway. But to go into hiding only means the questions will have to wait for a few months — it doesn’t mean they will go away. Tiger is a superb golfer, but, as were finding out more and more with each passing week, he’s not much of a man, and in the end that’s what he should be judged on.
