Darn, it's a cold

In the last year or so, I realized I have an allergy to cat hair and dust. But since I like cats and Ross has one, I’ve learned to put up with it and to take allergy medication. Thankfully Wal Mart carries the Equate brand of Claritan, otherwise I’d be spending a bit for relief.

I was hoping that it was my allergies as I started getting a stuffed up nose and scratchy, irritated throat Monday. Nope, it’s a cold. That’s what I get for being around a bunch of people during the holidays, some of them being sick. So I had to take stock of what cold-related stuff I had — need to get more Kleenex, check. Might as well get some more cough syrup, throw in some vaporub as well. Oh why not, get some throat lozenges. Clean out the vaporizer and I was set. I’m hopeful that I’ll eradicate this cold by the weekend, but sometimes they can be stubborn cusses and hang on for the rest of the month. But so far no fever, so it’s been going OK. So far.
