I’m a fan of van Gogh’s “Starry Night” as well. Why does that painting resonate with so many people? I love the song, "Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)" by Don McLean.

I'm also fascinated by Edvard Munch's “The Scream.” It was even stolen and eventually recovered unharmed years later.
