Idol chatter

We’re now down to the final four for season 8 of “American Idol.” For those of you still watching, the remaining contestants are Danny, Adam, Allison and Kris. To tell you the truth, I’m not really rooting for anyone. Allison has a great gravelly voice for a 17-year-old. Adam just continues to put his own spin on a song. Danny is from my home state. And Kris is kind of the “dark horse.”

So who will win? A lot of people say Adam is the TCO (the chosen one). Several on the Web site Television Without Pity say they can’t stand Danny. That he’s smug, smarmy, clumsy, etc. Allison could be in the final two, but apparently she can’t enunciate. And well, Kris...he’s a nice guy and all, but I don’t see him winning it all. (I liked the way he did his song for disco week).

All I can say is that I’ll probably watch this show to the bitter end. Then there’s the new FOX show “Glee.”
