On my dollar bill (that I’m going to insert in a chocolate-dispensing machine in a minute) someone wrote, “Thank you” on the front and “THANK YOU for everything” on the back. It’s probably an older person, because young people don’t say thank you (well one of my daughters texted me “ty” yesterday) and it’s written in mostly cursive.

I’d like to know what was the wonderful thing that deserved two thank yous on a dollar bill.

Actually I changed my mind on trading the bill for a bar of chocolate (and I found half a Dove bar in my drawer). I think I will keep the Federal Reserve Note with a note on it for awhile. Maybe the THANK YOU was meant for me.
