Aloha high gas prices

May 28, 2013 - Karin Elton
When I drive to the cities, I usually wait to fill up the gas tank in Hutchinson because it is always cheaper. Was I ever surprised to see that it was $3.99 a gallon there Saturday morning. Nevertheless, I should have filled up because it was even more expensive the closer I got to my destination, which was Excelsior. The cheapest gas around there was $4.06.

Marshall is never cheaper than other places — what gives? I mentioned the gas prices to someone and he said his boss recently bought gas in Duluth where it was $4.39 a gallon. I wonder why the big difference in gas prices within Minnesota?

It’s nice to know Minnesota has something in common with Hawaii.
