This guy has built a set of wings from ultra-light, ultra-strong materials, somewhat like a hang glider, but the video shows he can actually get off the ground by flapping them.

On one of his YouTube videos, he claims to have flown about 100 meters this weekend.

I guess Da Vinci was just ahead of his time.
