Can't Love this part of his game

February 6, 2012 - Per Peterson
So Kevin Love does have a flaw after all. One of the league’s top scorers and its best rebounder, Love, who has been suspended for two games for stepping on Houston forward Luis Scola’s face Saturday, is easily the Wolves’ best player. Nothing flashy, he’s just a hard worker and is fundamentally sound, especially when it comes to rebounding. His outside game has improved and he seems to be passing more. But alas, he IS an NBA player, and that means he must turn it up when it comes to whining at the officials. So really, his constant griping over calls and non-calls isn’t really a flaw as much as it is his destiny — the nature of the beast known as the NBA. But Love seems to be taking it too far this year. Ask him, and he never commits a foul. Ask him, and he gets hacked every time he gets the ball down low. Put your binky away, Love and just play. You’re good, but not good enough to get calls. Not yet anyway. Kevin Love has big enough feet to literally stomp out his opponents and big shoulders to carry the youngest team in basketball to the playoffs this year. We know now he’s got the head to match.

I posted a comment and it disappeared... Per, I believe Kevin Love was just sticking up for the T-Wolves. The opposing player intentionally hit him in the groin the previous game and K-Love let him know the Wolves were not docile. Minnesota Nice only goes so far, besides, K-Love is not from Minnesota.

Per, did you see the "highlight" of Scola throwing the ball into Love's groin? I saw both plays and I actually have to commend Kevin Love for showing the T-wolves aren't going to be abused by the rest of the league. I think this may set the tone for the Wolves as they regain repectability...
