Getting ready for Lent

Being a Catholic, the Lenten season can be a good time for reflection. But I'll admit it's hard to do the fasting part. Especially when it comes to not eating meat on Fridays and tomorrow, Ash Wednesday. And if you don't like fish very much (like me), macaroni and cheese and cheese pizza and grilled cheese sandwiches can get a little old. When Quizno's was still around, I loved getting the double cheese sandwich with ranch dressing and tomatoes. Sure it was an odd combination, but it tasted so good. Yeah, I'm sure there's a lot of vegetarian dishes I can make, but when I work most nights, whipping something up isn't always in the game plan. But I'm sure come tomorrow, I'll find something to eat.
