"The Other Guys" LOL

I heartily recommend the movie, “The Other Guys.” Yes I have kind of lowbrow tastes when it comes to comedies. Yes there were a few scenes I could have done without, but if you want to laugh practically every second of a movie, this one’s for you. I left the theater feeling good. $8 well spent.

The only false note in the movie was too much Eva Mendez as a beautiful doctor whose husband treats her like dog doo. I could have done with three minutes of her in the beginning and 40 seconds at the end. There’s even a part where she sings. The whole movie stops. With a thud.

But the movie is good, mindless fun. The audience chuckled throughout. There were two women in the audience who laughed extra loud nonstop. I have a feeling they were in an enhanced mood, or just really, really like Will Ferrell.
