As summer slips by

Looking at the calendar, it’s hard to believe it’s going to be August on Sunday. As many have mentioned, where has the summer gone? I’ll definitely chime in. I’ve only been swimming the one time, haven’t gone camping, only been on a couple of hikes at state parks.

Well, at least I’ve been to a couple of events — both to cover for the paper and for fun (ie. SkyFest and Cottonwood’s Coming Home Days as well as Walnut Grove’s Family Festival). Guess the summer hasn’t been a total wash. At least the weather stays reasonably warm through September.
