Love those lilacs

Every time May rolls around, I always like to breathe in the perfumed air whenever I pass by a lilac bush. This year, the lilacs seemed to bloom a little early, so I was able to enjoy the scent a little sooner. Yep, I had to take a whiff of my favorite flower last Friday when I went to the Southwest Minnesota State University playwriting festival when I passed by a grove of lilac bushes by the Fine Arts building. I was tempted to walk up people’s driveways on 4th Street to get my fill of lilacs.

Unfortunately I don’t have a lilac bush by my four-plex and Ross doesn’t have one in his yard. And alas, lilacs have a short season. Better go get me some.
