| | 'Room Service'April 27, 2010 - Cindy VotrubaLandmark Bistro pasta and comedy, what could be a better combination? After trying to find a new venue for its spring dinner theater, the Marshall Area Stage Company was able to get the Landmark Merchantile for its upcoming production of “Room Service.” “Room Service,” a play written by John Murray and Allen Boretz, was also a movie done by the Marx Brothers in 1938. It’s physical comedy with a lot of funny moments and performed by a great group of actors (and I’m not saying it just because I know these people). So if you’re in the mood for pasta and a good show, dinner theater tickets are available at Hy-Vee and Landmark Bistro for $25. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday (Sunday is a dessert matinee for $15). Plus, MASC is taking the show on the road to Minneota next weekend. Show times are 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Minneota Opera Hall. Tickets are only $5 there. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article.
