Barking at the banker

A family member banks at a nearby small-town bank and recently he brought our little Chihuahua with him through the drive-through and, ever the guardian, the dog barked at the teller.

The teller must be used to dogs going through the drive-up because, along with a receipt, she left a bone-shaped doggy treat in the cannister.
