coffee connoisseur

April 9, 2010 - Karin Elton
Just got back from visiting MECLA, Marshall’s alternative school. I always have a good experience there and enjoy interacting with the students and staff.

This morning the staff and students unveiled a new coffee shop at the Market Street Mall in the school’s lobby. People should check it out. The hours are from 7:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. weekdays through the school year and summer school. It will be closed during July and August so mall tenants and shoppers will have to get their coffee and muffin fix elsewhere until the school year starts.

I’m a coffee connoisseur and I thought the coffee wasn’t quite as good as Bagels and Brew’s brew — it tasted slightly acrid, but I thought it was really good after I poured some cream into the cup.
