| | Family CircusMarch 3, 2010 - Cindy VotrubaFor 50 years we’ve seen the antics of Billy, Dolly, Jeffy and their baby brother PJ as drawn by Bil Keane in Family Circus. If you’ve noticed in the comics page this past week, Keane’s doing a retrospective of sorts showing how far he’s come in detailing the family. In 1960, the dad had a big nose and a few strands of hair sticking out of the top of his head. He’s definitely much better looking now. The kids, although they haven’t aged a bit, have been fleshed out over the years. It’s nice to see the longevity of comic strips, even after some creators have passed on or just stopped making them.
