| | Kicking snowFebruary 25, 2010 - Cindy VotrubaI’m one of those types that when snow gathers around my wheel well, especially that black, sandy snow, I just want to let loose and kick it off. I don’t know what it is, but I get that little thrill when the snow falls off from those spots. I’m also smacking ice buildup on my hood and bumpers and wherever else ice forms. But there’s a stubborn hunk of snow in my left back wheel well that just does not want to come off. And these windchills and low temperatures haven’t helped. I even went to the Internet to see what other methods people try. Power washing. Well, the Jeep does need a wash, but I’m not too keen on freezing my locks. Maybe later this week when it’s supposed to break into the 20s. Kicking it off. Yep, tried that. Someone suggested taking a hammer and knocking it off without damaging anything. I did that a little, but there’s still a swath in the back wheel well. Guess I gotta wait until the temperatures venture into the 40s or hopefully, by some quirk of fate, the carwash will help.
