My whole life is in back of me

One of my daughters and I were talking about the future — what she should be — and I told her she’ll like high school and college. Then I said, “I don’t want you to go to high school! Wahhh!”

She said that she knows why I didn’t have a problem with the older siblings going to high school but do with the younger ones. It’s that after she and her sister graduate, all I will have to look forward to is retirement and death. She learned that in health class.

Well, it is always nice to have something to look forward to.
