I have my priorities

I was doing a few stretches and my shirt rode up. My daughter said, “Ugh. I saw your midriff. Do you know what a crunch is?”

I said, “Yeah, it’s the satisfying sound that a potato chip makes when you bite into it.”

While she ran upstairs to tell her sister the latest unfunny thing Mom just said, I contemplated my daughter’s excellent vocabulary. She said “midriff.”
