Referendum meetings set
To the editor:
I would like to invite the Marshall community to attend one of the informational meetings regarding the upcoming Marshall Public School District referendum. Two meetings will take place, one on March 2 and one on March 29.
Both informational meetings will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Marshall Middle School in the District Office Professional Development Room. Whether you are planning on voting yes, no or are undecided, I encourage you to attend one of these meetings.
This referendum, in one way or another, will impact your family, the Marshall community and the Marshall Public School district. These informational meetings are to provide you with information and facts as they pertain to the referendum, the tax impact and the current situation of our school district.
Many people have their own opinion in regards to the referendum; these meetings will be your opportunity to hear information, facts and for you to have any of your questions answered in order to make your own informed decision on how you want to vote.
In the past, these informational meetings have been offered, but there has been a poor turnout. Let’s come together Marshall as a community and have a good discussion.
