Lawrence Peter Antony was born Nov. 10, 1928, at the family farm in Wergland Township, Yellow Medicine County to Nicholas and Gertrude (Braun) Antony. Lawrence lived in this home until retiring and moving to Marshall in 1991. On June 8, 1950, he was united in marriage to Bernice Kack in St. Leo. Bernice was the love of his life. Lawrence enjoyed farming, including a poultry and egg operation from 1970 to 1980. He also served on the Taunton Elevator Board and measured land for many years. He enjoyed family outings, in particular Sunday afternoon visits with friends and family. He liked playing cards, casino trips, and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Lawrence and Bernice wintered for many years first in Florida, and later in Arizona. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice, of Marshall, children Al (and Jeannie) of Marshall, Debbie (and Larry) Jackson of Marshall, Bill (and Julie) of Lakeville, Jane (and Don) Henderson of Marshall, Joan (and Steve) Tutt of Marshall, Bob (and Valerie) of Fairfield, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Marion Blomme of Marshall, and Sr. Clara Antony of St. Cloud; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Tommy and brothers Mathias and Wilfred Antony.

Blessed be his memory.
