MARSHALL — Services for Christopher Lorenz Hoss, 64, of Marshall, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Military honors provided by American Legion Post 113 of Marshall.
Christopher died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Minneota Manor, in Minneota.
Christopher Lorenz Hoss was born July 15, 1952 to Milton “Tony” and Barbara (Lorenz) Hoss in Anchorage, Alaska. When he was 12, his family moved to Puyallup, Washington, where he later graduated from high school in 1970.
He served in the Airforce from 1970 to 1973, returning home to start a family. Chris moved to Minnesota in 1981 to attend Hutchinson Vo-Tech and Southwest State University On Oct. 11, 1986, he was united in marriage to Lana Binnebose. Chris was employed mainly in the food service industry.
Survivors include his wife Lana; father Tony (and Doreen); sister Jen Rinehart; daughters Catrina Grabe and Barbara Stewart; son Milton Hoss; grandchildren Cody Suggs, Sarah Custer, Kerri Lee Robinson, Justin Suggs, Kyle Stewart, Sierra and Madison Hoss; great-grandson Ryker Robinson; one nephew; aunts, uncles and cousins; sister-in-law Linda (and Chuck) Madden, brothers-in-law Loren (and Gloria) Binnebose and Lowell (and Bergit) Binnebose.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara McInroy and sister, Lori Kosko.
