Notice of Final Hearing for Judicial Ditch 20 YM&L

Notice is hereby given that the viewers have submitted and filed the property owners’ report and the viewers’ report for the Redetermination of Benefits for Judicial Ditch 20 Y&L (Yellow Medicine & Lyon). Judicial Ditch 20 Y&L consists of open ditch and county tile that drains from southwest to northeast. The system provides drainage to the following:

Portions of 14 Sections in Swede Prairie Township (Yellow Medicine) T-114-N R-42-W

Portions of 2 Sections in Westerheim Township (Lyon County)

T-113-N R-42-W

The system begins in Section 33 of Swede Prairie Township and the terminus is into a natural stream in Section 24 and then empties into Spring Creek, which empties into the Yellow Medicine River near

Hanley Falls.

A complete list of property owners and descriptions of the properties can be seen at the Yellow Medicine County Government Center in Granite Falls or at the Yellow Medicine County Ditch Office in Clarkfield.

You are further notified that a public hearing has been ordered to be held in the County Board Room in the Yellow Medicine County

Government Center, 180 8th Avenue, Granite Falls, MN, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to

accept the viewers’ report, property owners’ report and acquisition of the grass strip easement if applicable.
