One injured in Sunday morning crash
LYON COUNTY – A Cottonwood woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported Sunday morning at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and 310th Street, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 10:51 a.m. Sunday. The State Patrol said a 2008 Chrysler 300 driven by Anthony Barber, 33, of Marshall, was traveling southbound on Minnesota Highway 23 when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Heather Meier, 30, of Cottonwood. Meier was taken to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, Patrol said.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department and the Marshall Fire Department also responded at the scene of the crash.
