Crime and Accidents for July 23

MARSHALL — A man was arrested for third degree DWI at 1:38 a.m. Sunday on the 900 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Damage to a vehicle was reported at 8:23 a.m. Saturday on the 900 block of Pearl Avenue, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A boys black mountain bike was reported stolen at 7:37 a.m. Saturday on the 400 block of South Whitney Street, Marshall police said.

MARSHALL — A man was arrested for threats of violence and disorderly conduct and transported to jail at 12:37 a.m. Saturday on the 300 block of Robert Street and was later released, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A report was sent to probation regarding a male at 9:58 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Damage to property reported at 11:48 p.m. Saturday on the 500 block of West Lyon Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A report of gunshots or fireworks was reported at 11:02 p.m. Friday on the 600 block of Heritage Circle, Marshall Police said. When officers responded, they never found anything suspicious, Police said.

MARSHALL — A report is being sent to the attorney for consideration of charges in a domestic incident reported at 9:03 p.m. Friday on the 1400 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A male was issued a trespass form at 5:40 p.m. Friday on the 700 block of West Marshall Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A purple and black mountain bike was reported stolen at 3:16 p.m. Friday on the 1000 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Theft reported at 3:05 p.m. Friday on the 1100 block of East Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Theft reported at 12:11 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of East Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A threat was reported at 12:19 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Theft of a pack of cigarettes was reported at 10:14 a.m. Friday on the 500 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — The theft of a black Huffy with fluorescent green lettering mountain bike reported at 7:12 a.m. Friday on the 1000 block of East Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Theft of a depth finder for a fishing boat was reported at 7:02 a.m. Friday on the 400 block of North Seventh Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Theft reported at 1:25 p.m. Friday on the 1400 block of East College Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MARSHALL — A one-vehicle crash with very minor injuries was reported at 5:55 p.m. Friday on the 1000 block of North Bruce Street, Marshall Police said.

FLORENCE — A personal injury accident was reported at 2:44 p.m. Saturday south of Florence, near West Twin Lake, Shelburne Township, State Patrol said. A 1982 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Robert Redlinger of Lake Benton was southbound on Lyon County Road 51 when he lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle, the State Patrol said. Redlinger was taken to the Avera Tyler Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Patrol said. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, Tyler Fire and Rescue and Avera Ambulance responded to the scene, Patrol said.
