Crime and Accidents for July 19

MARSHALL — A boys’ style bicycle reported found at 3:47 a.m. Wednesday on the 1000 block of East College Drive was taken to the impound, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 30-year-old male was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant in an incident reported at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 500 block of West Lyon Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A report is not complete on a theft at 9:08 p.m. Tuesday on the 500 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A report is not complete on an incident reported at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday on the 1100 block of Skyline Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 30-year-old female was cited for theft, possession of a small amount of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia in an incident reported at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday on the 1100 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 37-year-old male was cited for speeding at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A kitten was taken to the kennel in an animal complaint incident reported at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of Boyer Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A dog taken to the kennel in an animal complaint incident at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of Peterson street was later released to its owner, Marshall Police said.

MINNEOTA — A warrant pickup incident was reported at 12:08 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of North Adams Street, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

Accidents

YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported at 10:39 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 212 in Stony Run Township, the Minnesota State Patrol said. At the time of the crash, a 2013 Freightliner Straight Truck driven by a 55-year-old Sioux Falls man was stopped for one-lane traffic in a road construction zone. A 2000 Chevy pickup driven by a 21-year-old Marshall man rear-ended the Freightliner, the State Patrol said.

The pickup had two passengers, a 15-year-old boy and a 7-year-old boy, the State Patrol said. More information, including the identities of the people involved in the crash, would be released later, the State Patrol said.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Granite Falls Police, Fire and Ambulance, North Memorial Air Care, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation all responded at the scene.
