MARSHALL — A cat was taken to the kennel in an animal complaint incident reported at 8:28 a.m. Friday on the 600 block of Van Buren Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Two parking violations were reported between 2:59 and 3:53 a.m. Friday, Marshall Police said. Citations were issued for parking violations reported on West Main Street and Pearl Avenue, Police said.

COTTONWOOD — Two parking violations were reported between 2:21 and 7:32 a.m. Friday, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said. Citations were issued for parking violations reported on West Main Street, Cherry Street and West Second Street North, the Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A male driver was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance in a traffic incident reported at 11:57 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Main Street and Susan Drive, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD — A male driver was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign in an incident reported at 6:51 p.m. Thursday on the 200 block of East Cottonwood Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MINNEOTA — A family matter was reported at 5:42 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of Elm Place, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — Theft of tools was reported at 5:13 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of Village Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A school bus stop arm violation was reported at 4:53 p.m. Thursday on the 1300 block of Birch Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A school bus stop arm violation was reported at 3:59 p.m. Thursday on the 600 block of Kendall Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Washing machines were damaged and change was taken in a theft reported at 3:16 p.m. Thursday on the 200 block of West Saratoga Street, Marshall Police said.
