One dead in Saturday crash on Highway 19

LYON COUNTY — One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash east of Marshall on Saturday morning, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 11:54 a.m. Saturday, the State Patrol said.

A 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Levi Robert Wildman, 28, of Carlos, was westbound on Minnesota Highway 19 at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said. Wildman drifted over the center line, and struck an eastbound 2013 Cadillac driven by Adolph Stephen Bernardy, 87, of Wabasso.

Wildman was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, but his injuries were fatal, the State Patrol said. Bernardy was transported to Avera Marshall Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
